Textile Metalizing, LLC Receives ISO9001:2008 Certification
Bloomfield, CT November 25,
2009: Swift Textile Metalizing, LLC (STM LLC)
announced today that it has received the International
Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001: 2008
certification. This certification was issued after a
complete review and audit by STR-R an ANAB accredited
registrar for the standard. STM LLC is engaged in the
design, development, manufacture and sales of electrically
conductive metal coated materials including textiles,
consisting of wovens, nonwovens, knits, fibers,
filaments, and finished articles to customers around the
world.
ISO 9001:2008 is the most recent revision
of the ISO 9000 series standard which encompasses the company’s
overall Quality Management System. The quality standard
encompasses all functions within the company.
Since 1955 Swift Textile Metalizing LLC,
located in Bloomfield, CT USA, has manufactured quality
conductive fabrics that protect people and equipment from
Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Static Discharge.
STM’s own proprietary technology custom
materials are incorporated into gaskets, conductive tape,
shielding cable wrap, curtains, doors, tents, grounding straps,
current carrying and resistance heating applications.
STM high quality fabrics continue to be specified into many US
and European military programs based on performance testing.
