Swift Textile Metalizing LLC provides innovative solutions for a variety of EMI and RFI shielding applications. The product highlighted here is an EMI fabric wallpaper that is used by the medical industry for shielding entire rooms. The wallpaper consists of two layers of nickel-silver coated woven nylon rip stop fabric that is laminated with an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive backed by a release liner. The fabric itself is measures 0.008" with an additional 0.003" of thickness added by the adhesive layer.

Throughout the development process, the fabric was tested for functionality to verify the finished product met the customer's specifications. The fabric is required to provide a minimum of 80 decibels of shielded effectiveness. We produce this material in 34 inch widths with an approximate 4 to 6 weeks lead time per production run.
