  • Conductive Woven Materials

STM’s conductive woven materials are available in silver only and silver with nickel for added durability, corrosion resistance and conductivity.

Our standard rip stop and taffeta fabrics are characterized by a tightly woven construction and high tensile strength, with weights ranging from 1.4 to 2.4 oz. per yd² and shielding effectiveness of -65 dB at 1 GHz.

These materials are capable of performing through harsh environmental exposure, while maintaining exceptional breathability. These characteristics make our conductive woven materials suitable for uses ranging from flexible sensors and circuits to EMI shielding gaskets to architectural shielding.

  • Conductive Non-Woven Materials

STM’s conductive non-woven materials are available in silver only and silver with nickel for added conductivity, durability and corrosion resistance.

Our non-woven fabrics are constructed of randomized fibers and thermally bonded, which provides excellent dimensional stability, mechanical durability and EMI shielding performance. Materials range from 2.0 – 5.0 oz. per yd² depending on base fabric weight and coatings.

These characteristics make our conductive non-woven materials suitable for uses including high performance architectural shielding applications to EMI/RF shielding bags and pouches.

  • Conductive Hook & Loop

STM’s silver-coated hook and loop materials provide an electrical resistivity of 0.02 Ω·cm. This enables a highly conductive method of attachment and the ability to main excellent conductivity across joints and seams.

Our hook and loop materials are available in 1” and 2” standard widths and have a proprietary coating, which provides enhanced durability.
